Waitin Til My Angel Comes Home





If you'all are allowed to post post-punk (miles outside the Doug Sahm arena) then I'm allowing myself an off-topic jam. This may not be a groover but to me it's paradise. I fell in love with the track for irony at first, and then it became a personal anthem. Carl Wilson wrote the number but Dennis slays it with his scarred and tender vocal. From an unjustly despised 1979 Beach Boys album, if this track grates your ears, well, summer is expecting more from you.
